Irregular Heartbeat
An irregular heartbeat, also known as arrhythmia, can be a symptom of heart disease. You may feel like your heart is racing, fluttering, skipping beats, or beating irregularly. An arrhythmia may be detected during a physical exam or on an electrocardiogram (ECG).
