Check Bluetooth Compatibility
Ensure that your phone is Bluetooth-enabled and compatible with your Toyota RAV4's Bluetooth system. Check the user manual of your phone for Bluetooth compatibility information.
Turn on Bluetooth on Your Phone
Go to the settings on your phone and turn on the Bluetooth feature. Make sure that your phone is discoverable so that it can be detected by the car's Bluetooth system.
Access Bluetooth in Your Toyota RAV4
Start your Toyota RAV4 and navigate to the Bluetooth settings in the car's multimedia system. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled in the car and that it is ready to pair with a new device.
Pair Your Phone and Car
Select the option to add a new device on both your phone and the car's Bluetooth system. Search for available devices on your phone and select your Toyota RAV4's Bluetooth name when it appears.
Enter Passcode if Required
If prompted, enter a passcode on your phone that matches the passcode displayed on the car's Bluetooth system. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.
Complete Pairing Process
Once the pairing is successful, you will receive a confirmation message on both your phone and the car's display. Test the connection by making a phone call or playing music from your phone through the car's audio system.
