2. Financial Documents
Income verification documents such as pay stubs, W-2 forms, and tax returns for the past few years. Bank statements to show savings and checking account balances. Proof of employment such as employer verification letters.
3. Credit History Documents
Credit reports from all three major credit bureaus - Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. Explanation of any negative marks on the credit report such as bankruptcies or foreclosures. Documentation of any efforts to improve credit such as paying off debts or establishing payment plans.
4. Property Information Documents
Purchase agreement or contract for the home being considered for purchase. Home appraisal report to determine the property's value. Property inspection report to ensure the home is in good condition.
