Preparation
Park your Hyundai Palisade on a flat surface and engage the parking brake. Turn off the engine and let it cool down for a few minutes. Gather the necessary tools and equipment, including a new battery, adjustable wrench, gloves, and safety goggles.
Locate the Battery
Open the hood of your Hyundai Palisade and secure it in place. Locate the battery compartment, usually located near the front of the engine bay.
Disconnect the Old Battery
Using an adjustable wrench, loosen the nut on the negative (-) terminal of the battery. Remove the negative (-) cable from the battery terminal. Repeat the same process for the positive (+) terminal. Carefully lift the old battery out of the compartment.
Install the New Battery
Place the new battery in the compartment with the positive terminal on the correct side. Attach the positive (+) cable to the positive terminal of the new battery and tighten the nut. Repeat the same process for the negative (-) terminal.
Secure and Test
Double-check the connections to ensure they are secure. Close the hood of your Hyundai Palisade. Start the engine to test the new battery.
